Internship opportunity at Volunteers collective, Delhi: Application Open!

Volunteers’ Collective is a Delhi based Citizen’s collective which consists of people from various professional backgrounds, namely- lawyers, law students, researchers, journalists, mental health advocates etc. Volunteers Collective came into existence with the motive of providing aid/relief to the society by working for the betterment of the society.

We have a dedicated vision to provide pro bono or low fee legal aid to those who cannot meet the ends of justice due to financial incapability. Also, we undertook several legal aid and legal awareness/education initiatives especially during the lockdown, namely- first-hand legal aid to domestic violence victims, registration of complaints of online sexual abuse, rent issues of students living in Delhi, Bangalore etc., conducted an internal session on Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace (POSH), internal sessions on Indian laws, research on legal issues etc.

We have several ongoing projects based on issues of utmost relevance, namely- Tracking campus bullying and sexual harassment on college campuses, Environment Law and EIA 2020, Mental Health Advocacy program, #WriteForDemocracy where we write about issues and topics of socio-legal relevance etc.

Volunteers Required

• Social Media Manager
• Content Manager

Volunteers’ Collective is looking for volunteers’ for the above positions. These are purely volunteer-based position for now.

What do we expect from each position?

Social Media Manager

We have our presence on SM platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. On regular intervals, we create content which has to be posted from all social media handles simultaneously. A common group will be created where the person/team handling social media will receive the content and that shall be published on social media handles. Likewise, the person/team has to take care of proper and timely amplification of social media posts. The social media person/team has to be in touch with the content person/team for better coordination. A social media post when completely finalised has to be verified and cross-checked with the relevant team head or Society member Tanvi (whose number shall be shared once the position is filled and finalised).
Content manager

The content manager has to work in coordination with the social media team and has to prepare relevant content for each post which has to be published on social media.
