I. CLAT PG

Conducted by NLU Consortium for 21 NLUs. Will be conducted in offline mode.

LLM Admissions in India

(1) Admission Process:

1st Step- the candidates are first required to get themselves registered on the site of the Consortium. While registering, the candidates are required to fill in their names, mobile no., email- id and a password. On successful registration you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile no. and after you fill in the OTP, your account will be activated.

2nd step-  after successful login, you’ll be redirected to a page where you would be given an option i.e. to either choose  UG or  PG. Select the option of PG and then proceed.

3rd step-  in this step, the candidates are required to fill an application form where you’ll be required to fill in the following information very carefully:

  • Personal details
  • Address for communication
  • Select the cities for the test
  • Upload the scanned image of the passport size photograph
  • Upload the scanned image of the signature
  • Upload the reservation certificates (if applicable)

4th step: after filling the application form, candidates are required to proceed with the application fee payment. The payment can be made only through online mode.

Please note the following:

  • Application fee for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates: Rs.4, 000/-
  • Application fee for SC/ST/BPL category candidates: Rs.3, 500/-
  • All these application fees are non- refundable.

5th step: candidates are then required to download their application form along with the fee payment details and take a print out of the same for future reference.

(2) Eligibility:

  • LLB degree or an equivalent examination degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% for general/ OBC/ SAP and 50% for SC/ ST.
  • No upper age limit.
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2021 are also eligible to apply.

(5) Date of Examination: 13th June 2021 from 2 PM to 4 PM (offline mode)

II. AILET PG

Conducted by NLU Delhi. It will be conducted in offline mode this year.

LLM Admissions in India

(1) Admission Process:

1st Step- the candidates are first required to get themselves registered on the site of the consortium. While registering the candidates are required to fill in their names, mobile no., and an email- id. After filling out this information, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile No. and after filling in that OTP, your registration would be complete. After registration, an email will be sent to your registered email- id containing the application number and password for future references.

2nd step- in this step, the candidates are required to fill an application form where you’ll be required to fill in the following information very carefully:

  • Personal details
  • Address for communication
  • Select the cities for the test
  • Upload the scanned image of the passport size photograph
  • Upload the scanned image of the signature
  • Upload the reservation certificates (if applicable)
  • Upload the scanned copy of the Transfer Certificate and Character Certificate.

3rd step: after filling the application form, candidates are required to proceed with the application fee payment. The payment can be made only through online mode.

Please note the following:

  • Application fee for General/OBC/EWS/Foreign Nationals/ Kashmiri Migrants candidates: Rs.3, 050/-
  • Application fee for SC/ST/ PWD category candidates: Rs.1, 050/-
  • Application fee for Below Poverty Line (BPL) candidates of SC/ST Category only: Fee Exempted

(2) Eligibility:

  1. LLB degree or an equivalent examination degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ PWD)
  2. No upper age limit.
  3. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2021 are also eligible to apply

III. LSAT INDIA-PG

Conducted by Law School Admission Council (LSAC), USA, LSAC’s affiliate in India.

LLM Admissions in India

(1) Admission Process:

1st step-  The candidates would have to register for LSAT- India through the link provided below. While registering the candidates are required to fill in their names, country, mobile no., an email- id, password and the program for which you are applying. After registering, an activation link will be sent to your registered email id. Click on the link to activate the account.

2nd step-  The mail that has been sent to your registered email, there would be a link where you can directly login and start filling your application. While filling the application forms, the Candidates need to enter the following details in the application form:

  • Personal information
  • Contact information, including email ID and phone number
  • Preference of Programme, test centre, and law schools of their choice
  • Educational qualifications like marks obtained in high school and senior secondary level exams and graduation degree.
  • Upload the scanned image of the passport size photograph
  • Terms and Conditions checkboxes that are to be ticked. Then click on submit application.

3rd step- after successfully filling the application form, candidates are required to proceed with the application fee payment. The payment can be made through online mode or by demand draft.

Please note the following:

  • Registration fee for March Administration: Rs. 3799
  • Registration fee for June Administration: Rs. 3799
  • Registration Fee for both March and June Administration: Rs. 7299

(2) Eligibility:

  1. The applicant must have completed a 3-year or 5-year L.L.B degree from a recognized university in India as mandated by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
  2. Minimum marks in qualifying examinations may vary from one institute to another: so the candidate may contact the institute individually to know the same.

(5) Date of Examination: To be held twice- 25th March 2021 and the starting week of 14th June 2021

IV. JSAT- Law Exam

Conducted by O.P. Jindal Global Law School (one who has already registered for LSAT India PG need not register separately for JSAT)

(1) Admission Process: 

1st step- Click on the link given below and create an account.

2nd step- For creating the account, under the “Jindal Application Form Number” field – enter the program name you’re aspiring to take admission for.

3rd step- After your account has been verified, log in and select “JSAT-Law: Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test for Law”

4th step- Under the “Find a test centre” tab, Select “JSAT-Law Online Exam”

5th step- Select the date and time of your choice.

6th step- Proceed with the payment. The payment can only be made through online mode. Appointment confirmation will be received within 24-hours of the booking.

Registration fee: Rs. 950

(2) Eligibility:

  1. The applicant must have completed a 3-year or 5-year L.L.B degree from a recognized university in India as mandated by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
  2. Must have scored not less than 50% aggregate marks in qualifying examinations.

V. Symbiosis All India Admission Test (AIAT)

(1) Admission Process: Apply online at the link provided below.

Please note the following:

Application Fee: Rs. 1950/- for AIAT Plus Rs.1000/- each for every institution applied. 

(2) Eligibility:

  1. Three or Five Year LL.B. Degree from any University recognized by the UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade [45% for SC/ST Candidates].
  2. Candidates who have appeared for the final year LL.B. examination may also apply.
