Memo Pundits is India’s first Mooting School for law students, founded in 2014 by Anant Gupta and Rachnendra Tripathi. It is a unique platform which imparts knowledge in the field of mooting. What sets it apart is its teaching methodology, which is far from traditional Indian online courses. All online courses are based on the Harvard University’s “Active Learning” model, which makes sure that learning is always fun!
For its courses and mentorship program, Memo Pundits engages professionals from Harvard, Cambridge, Oxford and other Top-tier NLUs and lawyers from international firms like Linklaters and HSF, and national firms like Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, J. Sagar Associates and Khaitan & Co.
Memo Pundits is also the official partner of the coveted Mooting Premier League, India’s biggest mooting championship run by Legally India.
CEO & Co-founder
Anant graduated from National Law University Odisha in 2016. He worked with the Banking Law team of Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. for 2 years and also gained business certifications from Harvard Business School. Throughout his 5 years of law school, Anant remained an active mooter with a considerable number of achievements to his name. His team was adjudged as the “Runners Up” at the NUJS Herbert Smith Corporate Law Moot. Having conducted over 70 webinars, his vision is to reach all in need of guidance. He is also the recipient of an Under 30 National Award for being an inspiring entrepreneur in the ed0tech industry.
COO & Co-founder
Rachnendra graduated from National Law University Odisha in 2016 and practiced litigation. His passion for mooting was evident right from his first moot court competition where his team bagged the “Best Memorial” and “Runners Up” citation at G.H. Raisoni Moot Court Competition. His exceptional memorial making skills have helped at least 15 moot teams win the “Best Memorial” citation at national and international moot courts such as the Philip C. Jessup International Moot.
With over 3 years of combined experience in Law & Ed-tech Industry as a legal assistant, career coach & mentor, and curriculum strategist, Aunnesha has built exceptional learning experiences for thousands of students. An alumnus of HNLU, Raipur, and SLS, Pune, she prides in her exceptional knowledge of IPR. She has seen steep growth while working with upGrad, Lawctopus & GreyAtom School of Data Science.
Litson is an alumnus of Indore Institute of Law. He was an active mooter during his law school days, having represented his college in various national and international moots including Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition. An ardent speaker, Litson has won over 10 national debate competitions across the country. He is the Founder CEO of Legge Rhythms Media and Publications which is ranked amongst the Top 20 Law Websites of India. He has trained over 1,000 students in public speaking and international diplomacy.
Pratyaksha is from School Of Law, UPES Dehradun. She is a passionate reader, a dedicated researcher having keen interest in mooting and drafting. She is a confident and proficient when it comes to handling people. She believes in dreaming big, staying positive, working hard and enjoying her journey.
Adwaita is from NMIMS Kirit P Mehta School of Law, Mumbai. She has a knack for research and is one of the most avid mooters in college. An extremely diligent and hard-working student, she is a person of her words, sincere and reliable, and puts all her efforts into whatever she takes up. Her creative skills can be seen in whatever she does, including her beautifully decorated class notes.

Shaurya is an alumnus of the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, during the course of #lawschool, Shaurya has been an avid mooter and has won six accolades in various national and international law #moot court competitions including #Oxford Price Media Law Moot Court Competition (South Asia Rounds)
Omvir Singh is from Army Institute of Law, Mohali. His interest in the mooting field is evident from his achievements in several national and international moots including Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot, Oxford Price Media Law Moot (South Asia) Rounds, Leidin Sarin International Air Law Moot and Henry Dunant Moot Court Competition.
Rituparna Padhy is from National Law University Odisha and has a keen interest in ADR. A staunch believer of the “learning is a lifetime journey” adage, she has considerable experience in content development, research, and mooting, and is always striving to expand her skillset.
